It looks like a meatball but really, it's a polpette! A true classic of Italian cuisine and a mouth-watering appetizer. No additives or preservatives, just local ingredients, raised and grown with passion by folks from right here at home.

Tomato sauce
2 - 796 ml (28 oz) cans of whole tomatoes
1 minced garlic clove
60 ml (¼ c) salted butter
5 ml (1 tsp) honey or sugar
freshly ground salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 230° C (450° F)
Drain the tomatoes by crushing them in a sieve.
Set the tomato juice aside.
Pour the tomatoes into a pot. Add the garlic, butter, honey and then season.
Bake in the oven uncovered for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
