La Moutonnière was the first farm in Québec to produce sheep's milk feta. Sheep's milk has a rich, creamy, slightly sweet taste. It features a percentage of solids that is much higher than cow or goat milk and it contains up to twice the minerals (calcium, phosphorous and zinc) plus all the B vitamins. Feta cheese from La Moutonnière is authentic, smooth and creamy. Our goal is to build a farming model that reconciles prosperity with healthy eating and sustainable development.
